The Stage 1 self-assessment — completing the Acquire certificate

The final task is an honest self-assessment across the whole of Stage 1 and a single next-step goal for Stage 2. It is not a test; it is a mirror.

Self-assess across the four modules
  • M1.1: dependable digital habits and pupil data safety.
  • M1.2: honest understanding of AI, data and limits.
  • M1.3: ethical mindset, anchor rule, red line, bias and verification.
  • M1.4: deciding whether a task needs AI, validating a tool, planning and reflecting on an AI-assisted lesson.
Rating scale

1 = Not yet · 2 = Getting there · 3 = Can do on my own · 4 = Can help a colleague.

Try it: Choose one area where you are strongest and one area that should become your Stage 2 goal.
