The design–try–reflect cycle

Getting better at AI-assisted teaching is not about making the first lesson perfect. It is about repeating a simple professional cycle: design → try → reflect.

The three steps
  • Design: Start from the need, choose a validated tool, define roles, name an accessibility adjustment and prepare a Plan B.
  • Try: Teach the activity once to a real class. Watch what actually happens, not only what you hoped would happen.
  • Reflect: Ask whether the activity helped learning, what worked, what failed and what you will change next time.
Honest reflection

Reflection should be short and truthful. One page is enough. Focus on learning first, not on whether the technology looked impressive.

Try it: Write the three reflection questions you will ask after your lesson. Make at least one question about learning.
Suggested 12-minute pacing: 5 minutes reading, 3 minutes examples, 4 minutes write your reflection questions.

डिजाइन–प्रयोग–प्रतिबिम्बन चक्र

एआई-सहयोगी शिक्षणमा राम्रो हुँदै जानु पहिलो पाठ perfect बनाउनु होइन। यो एउटा सरल professional cycle दोहोर्‍याउनु हो: design → try → reflect।

तीन चरण
  • Design: आवश्यकताबाट सुरु गर्ने, validated tool छनोट गर्ने, roles स्पष्ट गर्ने, accessibility adjustment नाम दिने र Plan B तयार गर्ने।
  • Try: वास्तविक कक्षामा activity एकपटक सिकाउने। आशा गरिएको मात्र होइन, वास्तवमा के भयो हेर्ने।
  • Reflect: activity ले learning मा सहयोग गर्‍यो कि गरेन, के राम्रो भयो, के भएन र अर्को पटक के बदल्ने भन्ने सोध्ने।
इमानदार प्रतिबिम्बन

प्रतिबिम्बन छोटो र सत्य हुनुपर्छ। एक पृष्ठ पर्याप्त छ। technology प्रभावशाली देखियो कि देखिएन भन्दा पहिले learning मा ध्यान दिनुहोस्।

अभ्यास: पाठपछि आफूलाई सोध्ने तीन reflection questions लेख्नुहोस्। कम्तीमा एउटा प्रश्न learning सम्बन्धी बनाउनुहोस्।
१२ मिनेटको सुझाइएको समय-विभाजन: ५ मिनेट पठन, ३ मिनेट उदाहरण, ४ मिनेट reflection questions लेख्ने।
