The tool-validation check
This H5P activity drills the five validation questions: accuracy, privacy, accessibility, appropriateness, and language/cultural fit.
Learner instructions
- Read each short tool scenario.
- Choose which validation issue is present.
- Notice which issues require stopping the tool.
Authoring content
- A tool asks for pupils' full names to personalise output → Fails privacy.
- True/False: A tool with no captions and no large-text option fails the accessibility check → True.
- A tool only works in English for a Nepali-medium class → Flag language and cultural fit.
- An answer sounds confident but cannot be verified → Flag accuracy; read laterally.
- Which two failed checks should stop a tool immediately? → Privacy and appropriateness.
Closing feedback: Run the five-question check every time and keep completed checks for Stage 2.
