Does this need AI?

This H5P Question Set checks whether you can start from the teaching need and decide whether AI genuinely adds value.

Learner instructions
  1. Read each teaching task carefully.
  2. Choose either AI adds value or A simpler way is better.
  3. Read the feedback and re-try if needed.
Authoring content
  • Generate ten varied practice questions for mixed levels → AI adds value (saves time; teacher checks them).
  • Pupils practise mental maths they are meant to learn → Simpler is better (doing it is the learning).
  • Draft a first version of a parent newsletter → AI adds value (teacher edits and approves).
  • Decide a pupil's report-card grade → Simpler/none (a person decides).
  • Make a quick poster when a printed one already works → Simpler is better (no real gain; real cost).
  • Explain a tricky concept a second way for a struggling reader → AI adds value (with teacher judgement).
Closing feedback: Start from the need. Just because you can use AI does not mean you should.

यो H5P Question Set ले तपाईंले शिक्षण आवश्यकताबाट सुरु गरेर एआईले साँच्चिकै मूल्य थप्छ कि गर्दैन निर्णय गर्न सक्नुहुन्छ कि सक्नुहुन्न जाँच गर्छ।

सहभागीका लागि निर्देशन
  1. प्रत्येक शिक्षण task ध्यानपूर्वक पढ्नुहोस्।
  2. एआईले मूल्य थप्छ वा साधारण तरिका राम्रो मध्ये एउटा छान्नुहोस्।
  3. feedback पढ्नुहोस् र आवश्यक भए पुनः प्रयास गर्नुहोस्।
Authoring content
  • मिश्रित स्तरका लागि १० वटा practice questions बनाउने → एआईले मूल्य थप्छ (समय बचत हुन्छ; शिक्षकले जाँच्छन्)।
  • विद्यार्थीले सिक्नुपर्ने mental maths अभ्यास गर्ने → साधारण तरिका राम्रो (गर्नु नै सिकाइ हो)।
  • अभिभावक newsletter को पहिलो draft बनाउने → एआईले मूल्य थप्छ (शिक्षकले edit र approve गर्छन्)।
  • विद्यार्थीको report-card grade निर्णय गर्ने → साधारण/कुनै एआई होइन (मानिसले निर्णय गर्छ)।
  • पहिल्यै राम्रो printed poster हुँदा नयाँ poster बनाउने → साधारण तरिका राम्रो (वास्तविक लाभ छैन; लागत छ)।
  • struggling reader का लागि कठिन concept अर्को तरिकाले बुझाउने → एआईले मूल्य थप्छ (शिक्षकको judgement सहित)।
