Purpose of this warm-up

This self-reflection activity helps you begin the module by considering both the benefits and risks of AI. AI can support learning, but it can also cause harm if used without judgement, fairness, privacy protection and accountability.

Your task
  1. Write three ways AI can do good in education or society.
  2. Write three ways AI can do harm in education or society.
  3. Review your answers and identify your current position: optimistic, cautious, concerned or uncertain.
Examples of possible good: helping teachers prepare materials, supporting students with explanations, improving access through translation or summaries.
Examples of possible harm: producing misleading information, increasing bias, exposing personal data, or weakening students’ own thinking.
Assessment: This is a self-assessment activity. It is not marked as right or wrong. Be honest about your starting point.

यस प्रारम्भिक गतिविधिको उद्देश्य

यो आत्म-प्रतिबिम्बन गतिविधिले तपाईंलाई एआईका फाइदा र जोखिम दुवैबारे सोच्दै मोड्युल सुरु गर्न सहयोग गर्छ। एआईले सिकाइमा सहयोग गर्न सक्छ, तर विवेक, निष्पक्षता, गोपनीयता र उत्तरदायित्वबिना प्रयोग गर्दा हानि पनि गर्न सक्छ।

तपाईंको कार्य
