Hype or honest?

This activity helps you separate exaggerated claims about AI from accurate statements. Read each claim and choose whether it is a myth or honest.

Authoring guidance for H5P

Use six short questions.
Randomise the order of questions where possible.
Allow re-takes so participants can learn from feedback.
Show feedback after each choice.

Claims to include

“AI will replace teachers.” → Myth: AI has no relationship, judgement, or accountability.
“AI predicts patterns from data.” → Honest: this is what AI actually does.
“AI is always right.” → Myth: AI can be biased and confidently wrong.
“A person should stay in charge of any AI decision.” → Honest: this is human agency.
“AI understands pupils the way a teacher does.” → Myth: AI does not understand pupils as people.
“AI can help a teacher, if a person checks its work.” → Honest.

Closing feedback: AI is a tool; the teacher is the professional in the room.

“एआईले विद्यार्थीलाई शिक्षकले जस्तै बुझ्छ।” → मिथक: एआईले विद्यार्थीलाई मानिसको रूपमा बुझ्दैन।
“मानिसले जाँचेमा एआईले शिक्षकलाई सहयोग गर्न सक्छ।” → यथार्थ।

अन्तिम प्रतिक्रिया: एआई एउटा साधन हो; कक्षाकोठामा पेशागत जिम्मेवार व्यक्ति शिक्षक नै हो।
